Director of Marketing & Communications
The Director of Marketing & Communications is responsible for developing and implementing a comprehensive communications strategy that enhances Royal ISD’s public image, promotes internal and external engagement, tells the district’s story, recruits exceptional team members, provides district-level communication with all stakeholders, and supports the district’s strategic goals.
This role serves as the chief spokesperson for the district and ensures consistent, engaging messaging across all platforms, including media relations, digital communications, social media, marketing initiatives, and internal communications.
Bachelor’s degree required.
Two years of experience in communications, marketing, or public relations roles in education or business sectors required.
Standard office equipment, including personal computer and peripherals; cameras; video cameras; and desktop publishing software.
Prolonged sitting; occasional bending, stooping, pushing, pulling, and twisting.
Repetitive hand motions, including frequent keyboarding and use of mouse; occasional reaching.
Occasional light lifting and carrying of less than 15 pounds.
May work prolonged or irregular hours.
Work with frequent interruptions; maintain emotional control under stress. " />
